The Sheer DELIGHT of a Care Package... (ideas here!)

Content by Éva Raposa

Boy oh boy... it's only March, and many of us are already so busy getting ready for The Season (!!). If you're much busier in the summer than off season, maybe for you too it can be brutal without proper self-care? So we decided this week to offer a lovely care package for a randomly chosen member of our E-Club (psst, it's free and a lovely treat all by itself).

Read on below to find out why we picked these particular items...!

Congrats to Sue C., the winner of the care package this week! :-)

1 // Moroccan Red Clay Powder (delightful face mask!)

IMG_2891-square.jpg

This clay mask is easy to use, super natural, and shockingly effective.

If you have sensitive skin like I do (I have to be so careful that things are natural so I don't end up blotchy as heck!), you'll be shocked to find out this little gem is less than $10 and perfect for sensitive skin.

Just mix the powder with some water, spread it on your face, let it dry, rinse it off (or use a facial loofah or something similar to gently rub it off with more water), and VOILA, tight and super soft skin.

I just feel CLEAN after I use it. (And my 6-year-old daughter can use it too, with my blessing, after which she says "Feel my face! So sooooooft!" like it's not already so soft. But momma is happy to have softer skin with it too! haha!

WHERE TO FIND IT IN VG:
You'll find this mask and quite a few other self-care supplies on the very last aisle, toward the front area of the store. It's directly across the aisle from nail polishes, on the bottom shelf. [the exact location could change, but this is accurate at the time of writing]

2 // Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea

IMG_2887-square.jpg

Of course, we all have our own favorite flavors!

But this one - the SWEET ROSE - and others like VANILLA CRÉME - just feel so luxurious. I actually have these two in particular always in my office to offer to clients.

There is good reason it says "stress-relieving and magical" on the package. It really is.

If you haven't already spent time enjoying VG's beautifully curated tea selection, now is a great time to do it!

WHERE TO FIND IT IN VG:
You'll find our teas across the aisle from the fresh produce section. It's the first official aisle, and there are quite a few options in the mix! [the exact location could change, but this is accurate at the time of writing]

3 // Chocolove - Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate

IMG_2890-square.jpg

Of course this is not the first time we've talked about dark chocolate, and in particular Chocolove. (like HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE... ha!)

It's just such a great treat.

This particular flavor is the MOST SOLD flavor at Vineyard Grocer, and it's no surprise because the mix is beyond divine. You have that mix of sweet and salty (not too much of either!), the crunch of the almonds, and it's even dairy-free.

WHERE TO FIND IT IN VG:
You'll find these chocolates (and several others - with LOTS of Chocolove options!) on the first aisle, the one that's across from the fresh produce section. If you're looking at our teas, you'll find the chocolates are closer to the front door. [the exact location could change, but this is accurate at the time of writing]

4 // Aromatherapy - Mineral Bath Soak

IMG_2889-square.jpg

At the end of a long day, this bath soak is a perfect way to unwind. Two parts of this soak make it doubly perfect. :-)

The first part is that the actual salt/minerals are there to help your body fully relax.

The second part is the essential oils that help you relax with the fuller sensory experience.

It's like helping your body AND soul to relax at the same time!

WHERE TO FIND IT IN VG:
You'll find this soak in several different options and along with quite a few other self-care supplies on the very last aisle, toward the front area of the store. It's directly across the aisle from nail polishes, on the bottom shelf. [the exact location could change, but this is accurate at the time of writing]

5 // Heavenly Organics Raw White Honey

IMG_2888-square.jpg

You'll find quite a few lovely options for sweetener at Vineyard Grocer, including coconut sugar, coconut nectar, agave nectar, several hand-picked brands of raw honey, stevia (the sugar-free, no-junk sweetener that comes from a plant which is called "erva dulce" or SWEET HERB in Portuguese).

This particular honey is sustainably sourced using "bee-friendly and smoke-free methods" and has a unique flavor, originating from wildflower fields in the Himalayan Mountains.

With the colorful container and rich flavor and background, this honey can make a lovely gift (for yourself or for a friend!).

WHERE TO FIND IT IN VG:
You'll find this honey and many other sweeteners on the second side of our first aisle. After entering the store, you stay at the front (rather than heading toward the produce section or to the back) and turn left AFTER you see the first official aisle. You'll see the honey right there on the left side toward the bottom, with quite a few other options in that area. [the exact location could change, but this is accurate at the time of writing]
